LaidBack are beach towels inspired by the culture and beauty of Puerto Rico. Puerto Ricans definitely know what an endless summer is like. With an average temperature of 85˚F year-round, no matter in which direction you go, north, south, east or west, you will surely find a beautiful beach to relax and enjoy. LaidBack is made entirely in Puerto Rico, perfectly combining design and functionality so you can dry off in style.
Sometimes basic is boring
Puerto Ricans are people full of color, music, rhythm and we are loud ... very loud. LaidBack beach towels are designed to express all the beauties the Island of Puerto Rico has to offer.
A New Chapter
Since day one, reducing our carbon footprint has always been our goal.
After 4 years of constant searching, learning and a lot of desire to achieve it, we have finally managed to create a high quality and functional product made from recycled plastics without sacrificing the essence of the brand.
How we did it?
Our towels are crafted from Global Recycled Standard-certified plastic waste. A LaidBack towel is made from 14 post-consumer recycled plastic bottles.
First collected, the plastic bottles are then cleaned and then reduce to small beads which are melted to be transformed into yarn to make each towel. The material also dries very quickly, it is super absorbent and sand resistant.

I love each and every design and truly admire the passion that goes behind every design.
Protecting the enchantment
LaidBack is committed to preserving the beaches of Puerto Rico. Each towel is created keeping in mind that it has the least possible impact on the environment. All pieces are printed through sublimation process which uses water-based inks which leave 0% waste, guaranteeing brighter colors that will last for much longer.
